KMS MA-9 ECU
The KMS MA-9 ECU is our most advanced standalone engine management system. This ECU comes with a completely new tuning system. It is designed to provide complete control over almost every aspect of engine management, from fuel and ignition to advanced sensor integration and tailor-made tuning possibilities.
MA-9 Key Features:
-
Supports up to 16 cylinders (8 cylinders sequential): This increases the versatility of the MA-9 for a wide range of engine configurations, including multi-bank setups for V8 and V12 engines. It ensures complete control in both motorsport and high-performance applications.
-
Variable Valve Actuation (VVC): With integrated VVC support, the MA-9 offers complete control over valve timing, optimizing engine efficiency, power and torque curve based on load and RPM. This provides a perfect combination of performance and fuel economy.
-
Knock Control: The MA-9 incorporates advanced knock detection algorithms, providing real-time feedback and adjustments to maximize engine performance while protecting against knock and detonation. This is essential for engine reliability in high-performance environments.
-
Two integrated wideband lambda controllers: Compatible with LSU 4.2, 4.9 and ADV sensors. These controllers provide extremely precise fuel/air ratio management, essential for fine-tuning engine performance in real time.
-
Two high-power bridge drivers: These drivers provide advanced control of high-current components such as electronic throttle valves.
-
Built-in EGT input: The MA-9 features built-in exhaust gas temperature (EGT) monitoring, expandable up to 8 channels via the KMS EGT-to-CAN converter. This allows for precise control and safety during high-performance tuning.
-
IP64 Housing: The MA-9's rugged design provides protection against dust and splashing water, ideal for demanding motorsport environments where durability is paramount.
-
Completely redesigned tuning software: Featuring advanced logic control, real-time diagnostics and an intuitive user interface, the new software gives tuners complete freedom to fine-tune every aspect of the engine. Its ease of use, combined with powerful functions, makes tuning more efficient than ever.
-
And much more...
