PRODUCT DETAILS

This is a direct replacement kit to replace carburetors or Bosch injection systems while retaining the OEM look in your engine bay. This kit is also ideal if you want to "backdate" your Porsche 911 to a more classic, carburetor based look, but with modern engine functionality. The kit includes everything you need for a complete ITB (Individual Throttle Body) setup. Here's what's included:

Included in the kit:

  • 2x Full Billet, Hard Anodized Intake Manifolds
  • 6x ITB's complete with lever assembly
  • 2x fuel filters with mounting hardware
  • 1x throttle linkage with 2 throttle linkage rods
  • 1x Direct Mount Fuel Pressure Regulator
  • 2x Riser Plates with 1 Air Temperature Sensor (for use with OEM Air Filter Box)
  • 1x Crankshaft Sensor and Trigger Wheel Kit (optional)
  • All necessary gaskets and mounting materials

Available sizes for Porsche 911 intake manifolds:

  • Carburetor/Bosch MFI 32mm engine side - 40mm ITB side . Recommended for early 2.0L & 2.2L engines
  • Bosch injection system 34mm engine side - 40mm ITB side . Recommended for 2.7L engines
  • Bosch injection system 39mm engine side - 42mm ITB side . Recommended for 3.0L engines
  • Bosch injection system 41mm engine side - 45mm ITB side . Recommended for custom setups or tuned engines
  • Bosch injection system 42mm engine side - 45mm ITB side . Recommended for custom setups or tuned engines

ITB Sizes:

  • Tapered ITB : 40mm-45mm (40mm is the throttle valve size, 45mm is the OEM air coil size)
  • Tapered ITB : 42mm-45mm (42mm is throttle body size, 45mm is OEM air coil size)
  • Rectangular ITB : 45mm-45mm (45mm is the size of the throttle valve, 45mm is the size of the OEM air coil)

Material and Manufacturing:

  • The intake manifolds and riser plates are machined from a single piece of 6082 aluminum and are available in 2 styles.
  • The ITBs are made of cast aluminum .
  • The fuel filters are made of 6060 aluminum extrusion profile and have AN6 ORB connections for the fuel lines.
  • The direct mount fuel pressure regulator mounts directly to the fuel filters, eliminating the need to drill additional holes in the engine compartment.
  • The throttle linkage and all mounting hardware are made of stainless steel . Pivot hinges feature a ball and socket design for smooth operation.
  • Levers allow you to fine-tune the mechanical movement of the ITBs.

Additional Features:

  • OEM Compatibility : The assembly dimensions are the same as the OEM carburetors. The riser plate has the same mounting options as the OEM carburetors, so you can continue to use the OEM air box and air curl.
  • Air curl option : If you prefer to use air curls, you can choose to leave out the riser plates.
  • Air Temperature Sensor : The riser plate has mounting options for an air intake sensor, which is neatly hidden between the ITBs.

Crankshaft Sensor and Trigger Wheel Kit:

  • This kit is optional but recommended when moving to ITBs. You will also need a standalone ECU to manage the fuel injection.
  • The kit works best with engines like the 3.0 that originally had a large distributor. You can keep the distributor or remove it if you switch to a discoil type ignition .
  • The crankshaft sensor kit includes an adapter for the crankshaft sensor and comes with a choice of 2 pulleys: 116mm or 126.5mm.

Additional Comments:

  • KMS injectors, fuel lines, standalone ECU and wiring harness are NOT included in the kit, but are compatible.
  • Air filter box and air curls are for illustration purposes only and not included in the kit. Air curls can be supplied upon request.
  • Replacement Compatibility : When used as a replacement part for damaged OEM parts, the mounting points may need to be re-tapped with a Timesert or Helicoil to allow the mounting rod to be installed.

This kit is ideal for anyone looking to modernise their Porsche 911 engine with the performance of ITBs, whilst retaining the classic, carburettor-based look.
